A little about me

Hey, I’m MON.

I’m Mon, a Melbourne-based wedding photographer with over 15 years of experience and more than 500 weddings behind the lens.

With a love for fashion, beautiful details and genuine connection, my approach blends editorial photography with the art of storytelling. I bring creativity, direction and a relaxed energy to every wedding, creating images that feel both considered and effortlessly natural.

The year it all started

Love by shae began in 2008, when I took a chance on something I loved and turned it into a business. I had no idea then just how many weddings, families and incredible people would become part of the story.

More than 15 years later, I’m still here - still photographing weddings, still obsessed with beautiful light and still genuinely excited every time someone trusts me with their day.

A new chapter

By this point, love by shae had grown far beyond where it started. My style was becoming more refined and I found myself leaning further into movement, emotion and the real moments I still love most.

More than 500 weddings and over 15 years behind the camera later, I’m still just as excited by what’s next. In 2026 that meant taking my camera through Europe, photographing in places I have dreamed of and opening the door to destination weddings across Europe.

From Paris, Lake Como to the Amalfi Coast, Greece and beyond love by shae is now available for European destination weddings, elopements and celebrations.
